About me
I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist in the public schools for over 15 years. My work has given me immense joy in supporting children who have a variety of communication difficulties. However, I have come to realize that I am most interested in supporting children’s literacy skills in conjunction with their speech and language skills. My inspiration has led me to start Speaking of Reading, a private therapy practice, that specializes in integrating literacy-based activities with speech and language therapy. Speech and language delays often lead to struggles with reading and writing, making it a priority for me to address all skills in an integrated manner. I believe in building strong relationships with families, where parents and caregivers play a vital role in supporting their children. My hope is to continue inspiring children to reach their full potential and become confident communicators and readers.
